Graveside funeral services for Eunice Laverne Nixon, 82, of Cairo, GA, are on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Dean Cox will officiate.  Ms. Nixon passed away at Pelham Parkway Nursing Home in Pelham, GA, on Monday, February 15, 2021.

Ms. Nixon was born on September 21, 1938, in Cairo, GA to Ada Hall.  She was married to Allen A. McCurley, who preceded her in death on September 7, 2014.  She was a homemaker.

Survivors include: her grandchildren, Alex McCurley (Jessie) of Ochlocknee, GA, Ashley McCurley of Cairo, GA, Candice Pool (Daniel) of Crawfordville, FL, Amanda Mathews of Cairo, GA, Brad Landrum of Cairo, GA; and great-grandchildren, Charlie, Kylie, Jonathan, Eden, Ally Maddie, Skylar, Emma, Morgan, Ethan, Aubrey, Alivia, Ada, Emily, Courtney and Jason.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Alvin A. McCurley; son, Dewey Allen McCurley; and a daughter, Nita McCurley.
