Deloris Joy Wade Orender

Funeral services for Deloris Joy Wade Orender, 88, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Bill Staten will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Orender passed away at her home on Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Mrs. Orender was born on January 8, 1933, in Antlers, OK, to the late John A. Wade and Ina Jo Glaze Wade. On April 8th, 1952, she married the love of her life, Clyde Clarence Orender, Jr., who preceded her in death on May 8, 2020. They shared 68 years of Christian marriage. She retired as a preschool teacher after 30 years of service. She was a member of Faith Christian Center.
Survivors include: son, Mike Orender (Janine) of Hilliard, FL; daughter, Cheryl Rehberg (Jeff) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Tara Bilanski (Ori) of Israel, Rachel Armstrong (Adam) of Indianapolis, IN, Vanessa Faircloth of Cairo, GA, Hunter Rehberg (Ashley) of Atsugi, Japan, Stephen Rehberg (Kaitlin) of Niceville, FL, Turner Rehberg of Cairo, GA; 10 great-grandchildren; a step-sister; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; brother, Donald Ray Wade and a sister, Rosia Ann Grimmitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Orender’s memory to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105; or Faith Christian Center, P. O. Box 741, Cairo, GA 39828.
The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on immediately following the funeral service.
