Eleanor M. Farnsworth
September 22, 1930 – July 26, 2021

Funeral services for Eleanor M. Farnsworth, 90, of Calvary, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Charles Whatley will officiate.  Interment will be in Piedmont Cemetery, Calvary, GA.  Mrs. Farnsworth passed away at Pinewood Nursing Center, Whigham, GA, on Monday, July 26, 2021.

Mrs. Farnsworth was born on September 22, 1930, in Chicago, IL, to the late George Paluga and Marie Miland Paluga.  On September 2, 1951, she married Thomas Daniel “Dan” Farnsworth, who survives.  She was a loving homemaker and mother to her family.  She was a member of the Church of the Holy Guardian Angels in Lantana, FL.

Survivors include: her husband of 70 years, T. Daniel “Dan” Farnsworth of Calvary, GA; children, Nancy Cohen (Stan) of St. Petersburg, FL, Joy Marie Herring of Lamont, FL, Steven Farnsworth (Sue) of Lecanto, FL, Diane Katchmar of West Palm Beach, FL; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; brother, George Paluga; and a sister Ann Hager.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
