Tina Lynn Stevenson
January 9, 1963 – August 23, 2021

Graveside funeral services for Tina Lynn Stevenson, 58, of DeFuniak Springs, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 30, 2021, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. David Harrell will officiate.  Ms. Stevenson passed away at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast in Miramar Beach, FL, on Monday morning, August 23, 2021.

Ms. Stevenson was born on January 9, 1963, in Cairo, GA, to Winton B. Godwin and the late Frances Sheperd Maddox.  She was a baker and cake decorator for the Publix Super Market Corporation.  She was baptized in Tabernacle Baptist Church.  Whether it was painting, decorating cakes, or decorating houses, she loved making beautiful things.  She was a light in every room and always sought to make people smile and feel at ease.  She was a loving mother, loyal sister, and got great joy from being an aunt.

Survivors include: her companion of 10 years, Kelvin Thompson of DeFuniak Springs, FL; her sons, Clint Long of Dunwoody, GA, Jimmy Stevenson of Pulaski, TN; father, Winton B. Godwin of Cairo, GA; sisters, Robbie King (Shawn) of Clover, SC, Amanda Hooks (Darryl)of Cairo, GA, Nancy Hendrix (William) of Freeport, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Maddox.
