Jimmy Dean Barrineau
March 13, 1939 – August 28, 2021

Jimmy Dean Barrineau, 82, of Cairo, GA, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 28, 2021.  A private family graveside service will be held.

Mr. Barrineau was born on March 13, 1939, in Cairo, GA, to the late Roy Hamp Barrineau and Velma Miley Barrineau.  On July 20, 1963, he married Eleanor Cornelia Howell Barrineau, who preceded him in death on September 9, 2003.  Jimmy worked in construction industry building bridges with Southern Concrete until his retirement.  He was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: his children, Tammy Kirk (James) of Ochlocknee, GA, Romona Barrineau of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Bradley Dean Kirk of Cairo, GA, Coy Lee Mears of Cairo, GA, Conrad Dillan Mears of Cairo, GA, Jonathan Lee Mears of Tallahassee, FL; great-grandchildren, Braelyn Kirk of Ochlocknee, GA, Lakelyn Mears, Cole Mears, both of Tallahassee, FL; brother, Eddie Barrineau of Cairo, GA; sister, Evelyn Robertson of Cairo, GA; Bobbie Marie Van Brunt of Cairo, GA, India Jackson of Sumnter, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; brothers, George Barrineau, Roy “Bill” Barrineau; and sisters, Mary Barrineau, Alice Barrineau, Charles Francis Barrineau
