Louise Fowler McBroom
October 5, 1936 – October 29, 2021

Funeral services for Margaret Louise McBroom, 85, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Whigham Baptist Church, Whigham, GA.  Rev. Kerry Dinkins and Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate.  Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Mrs. McBroom passed away at the Residence at Oak Grove in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, October 29, 2021.

Active pallbearers will be Tim Lindsay, Mark Bennett, Shannon Hendrixson, Jonathan Hartsfield, Jay Knight and Frank Hester.  Honorary pallbearer will be Stewart Braswell.

Mrs. McBroom was born on October 5, 1936, in Albany, GA, to the late Andrew Lafayette Fowler and Alma Louise Branch Fowler.  On July 10, 1965, she married Embry Ralph McBroom, who preceded her in death on May 17, 2020.  She was a homemaker and a member of Whigham Baptist Church.

Survivors include:  her son, Matthew McBroom (Kim) of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Emiley Spring (Michael Allen) of Whigham, GA, Zachary Cook of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Joshia Marrero, Marlene Allen, both of Whigham, GA; brothers, Marvin Fowler of Snellville, GA, Jimmy Fowler (Linda) of Lake Seminole, GA; sister, Norma Fowler Bryan of Bainbridge, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and a son, David McBroom.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. McBroom’s memory to:  Whigham Baptist Church, P. O. Box 83, Whigham, GA  39897.

The family will receive friends at Whigham Baptist Church on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
