Willie Ray Hargrove

Willie Ray Hargrove, 75, of Thomasville, GA, passed away at his home on Thursday, October 27, 2021. The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
Mr. Hargrove was born on November 1, 1945, in Dickson, TN, to the late Donald B. Hargrove and Ruby Mildred Fuller Rexroat. He retired as a self-employed truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith. Ray loved attending gospel sings and and has sang bass in a few gospel groups over the years. He loved music and passed that love on to his children and grandchildren. A few of his favorite pastimes over the years have included singing, hunting, fishing, cooking, playing basketball, restoring cars, and building race cars.
Survivors include: his daughters, Jackie Pearson (Dewayne) of Cairo, GA, Regina Cone (William) of Perkasie, PA; grandchildren, Heather Cato (Jason) of Cairo, GA, Kailee Cone of St. Paul, MN, Tyler Cone (Ashlee) of El Paso, TX; great-grandchildren, Hunter Miller, Fisher Miller, Jayce Cato, all of Cairo, GA, Rosemary Cone, Elsie Cone, both of El Paso, TX, and another granddaughter on the way; sister, Donna Nordyke of Liberal, KS; nephew, Randy Nordyke of Liberal, KS; and a great-nephew, James Allen Nordyke.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; brother, Lannie Hargrove; and a sister, Pat McGlaughlin.
