Nina Widner Holton
January 30, 1924 – March 7, 2022

Funeral services for Nina Widner Holton, 98, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Steve Wooten will officiate.  Services will conclude at the chapel.  Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Holton passed away at her home on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Honorary pallbearers will be the members of Midway Baptist Church Ladies Adult Sunday School Class.

Mrs. Holton was born on January 30, 1924, in Colquitt County, GA, to the late J. B. Widner and Clara Davis Widner.  On August 10, 1948, she married John Roy Holton, who preceded her in death on February 8, 1994.  Before her retirement, she was the floor manager at Warner’s Clothing in Thomasville.  She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Cairo.  Mrs. Holton’s favorite pastimes were to fish and read.  She loved the outdoors and walked daily until age 97.

Survivors include: her son, Randy Holton (Judy) of Cairo, GA; granddaughter, Angie Scarbrough (Jimmie) of Cairo, GA; and a great-grandson, Hunter Holton Scarbrough of Cairo, GA.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sister, Mildred McCorkle; and a brother, Bo Widner.
