Susan Connell Orr
February 2, 1943 – March 8, 2022

Susan Elaine Connell Orr, 79, of Kennesaw, GA, passed away in Marietta, GA, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  Private graveside memorial services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate.

Mrs. Orr was born on February 2, 1943, in Cairo, GA, to the late Anderson Berry Connell and Pearl Louise Dollar Connell.  On August 24, 1974, she married Richard Clifton Orr, who preceded her in death on October 5, 1982.  Before her retirement she was the Director of Food Services for the Roswell Street Baptist Church in Marietta, GA.  She was of the Baptist faith.  Her favorite hobbies were cooking and baking.

Survivors include: her son, Christopher Orr (Denise) of Kennesaw, GA; grandchildren, Jimmy Orr, Fiona Orr, and Charlotte Orr, all of Kennesaw, GA; her brother, John Connell (Diane) of Cairo, GA; sister, Debra Connell Williams (Mike) of Marietta, GA; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
