Private graveside funeral services for Ethel Louise Wolford, 83, of Cairo, GA, are Wednesday, May 11, 2022, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Teddy Williamson will officiate.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Wolford passed away at her home on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

Mrs. Wolford was born on September 3, 1938, in Orrville, OH, to the late Earl Lewis and Myra Lewis.   On Feb. 28, 1968, she married Sherman Wolford, who survives.  She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.

Survivors include: her husband of 54 years, Sherman Wolford of Cairo, GA; children, Patsy Pearson (Ray) of Cairo, GA, Terri Garner (Edward) of Pelham, GA, Lee Dana Wolford of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Hana Wolford, Megan Pearson, Peyton Pearson, Brandon Mitchell, Justin Wolford, Joshua Vickers, all of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Avery Grace Lawrence, Ayden Wolford, Brycen Wolford, Raleigh Wolford; sister, Hazel Lewis of Wooster, Oh; and a brother, Ron Lewis (Deb) of Orrville, OH.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; son, Jamey Wolford; granddaughter, Kayla Marie Wolford; and a sister, Miriam Yungen.
