Joseph Dale Cain
November 17, 1936 – August 21, 2022

Funeral services for Joseph Dale Cain, 85, of Whigham, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 28, 2022, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mr. Cain passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Sunday, August 21, 2022.

Active pallbearers will be his grandsons.

Mr. Cain was born on November 17, 1936, in Purvis, MS, to the late George Monroe Cain and Annie Laura Carpenter Cain.  He served his country in the United States Navy until his retirement.  On June 23, 1973, he married Agnes Marie Cain, who preceded him in death on November 1, 2014.

Survivors include: his children, Laura Doscher of Homestead, FL, Deana Nycum of Deltona, FL, Linda Richardson of Whigham, GA, Gary Langanke of Lake Wales, FL, Donald Langanke of Orlando, FL, Angela Cain of Port St. John, FL; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Housley of Purvis, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; grandchild, Levi Alan Angelier; and 7 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, August 28, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
