Ellis Junior Brady
February 11, 1938 – December 30, 2022

Funeral services for Ellis Junior Brady, 84, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, January 2, 2023, at the Bridge Church of God, Ochlocknee, GA.  Rev. Jerry Rewis will officiate.  Interment will be in Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church Cemetery, Ochlocknee, GA.  Mr. Brady passed away at his home on Friday, December 30, 2022.

Active pallbearers will be Mike Crawford, Clint Anderson, Robbie Anderson, Trent Lawler, Robert Pearce and Sammy Willis.

Mr. Brady was born on February 11, 1938, in Cairo, GA, to the late George Franklin Brady and Lois Mable Rogers Brady.  On April 14, 1963, he married Barbara Langley Brady, who survives.  He was a welder until his retirement.  He was of the Church of God faith.

Survivors include: his wife of 60 years, Barbara Brady of Cairo, GA; children, Tamela Renee Nelson (Gary) of Thomasville, GA, Jeffery Tyrone Brady (Mary) of Moultrie, GA; grandchildren, Nicole Faith Pearson (Jonathan) of Waycross, GA, Kayla Brooke Burns (Mike) of Moultrie, GA; great-grandchild, Levi Joel Burns of Moultrie, GA; sisters, Lowaner Johnson of Cairo, GA, Linda Anderson of Thomasville, GA, Diana Adams (Phillip) of Coolidge, GA, Maxine Smith of Thomasville, GA; brothers, Larry Brady (Linda) of Waycross, GA, Dennis Brady of Ochlocknee, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Georgia Nell; and brothers, Billy Ray Brady, Gerald Lee Brady.

The family will receive friends at the Bridge Church of God on Monday, January 2, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
