Sandra Lee Goembel
October 30, 1940 – April 21, 2023

Sandra Lee Goembel, 82, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home on Friday, April 21, 2023.  The family will have a private family memorial service at a later date.

Mrs. Goembel was born on October 30, 1940, in Sanford, FL, to the late James H. Lee, Jr. and Justine Tripp Lee.  One June 12, 1960, she married Marvin Goembel, who survives.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Cairo First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Marvin Goembel of Cairo, GA; daughter, Ann Goembel Shockley and husband, Chas of Tallahassee, FL; granddaughter, Emma Justine Shockley of Tallahassee, FL; two sisters and one brother; several nieces, nephews and extended family.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
