Jesse O’Neal Stevens

Graveside funeral services for Jesse O’Neal Stevens, 72, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13, 2023, in the Cairo Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Tommy Butler will officiate.  Mr. Stevens passed away at the Nashville VA Medical Center in Nashville, TN, on Tuesday, May 9, 2023.

Mr. Stevens was born on November 25, 1950, in Cairo, GA, to the late Jesse James Stevens and Molly Myrtice Sawyer Stevens.  He served his county in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.   On October 16, 1971, he married Connie Miller Stevens, who survives.  He retired from Hunt Industries in Valdosta, GA.

Survivors include: his wife, Connie Stevens of Cairo, GA; daughter, Stephanie Michelle Ramburg (Bill) of Panama City Beach, FL; grandson, Jimmy Scott Lewis of Cairo, GA; great-granddaughter, Reagan Marie Lewis of Cairo, GA; sisters, Ophelia Folsom of Cairo, GA, Kay Harrell (Steve) of Crawfordville, FL; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Annette Freeman; and brothers, James Stevens, Jimmy Stevens.
