Phyllis Ann Encalade Cessna

Funeral services for Phyllis Ann Encalade Cessna, 72, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2023, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. James Scarborough will officiate.  Interment will be in Crestview Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mrs. Cessna passed away in Archbold Hospice Care Unit on Thursday, June 29, 2023.

Mrs. Cessna was born on March 14, 1951, in New Orleans, LA, to the late James Lewis Encalade and Juanita Mary Fourmeaux.  On August 14, 1982, she married William Cessna Sr., who preceded her in death on May 25, 2023. Mrs. Cessna worked as a sales associate with Wal-Mart.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include: her children, Roxane Theresa Billiot of Lake City, FL, Dale Wayne Billiot (Janet) of Cairo, GA, Dawn Michelle Cessna of Saucier, MS, William Samuel Cessna, Jr. (Bridget) of Slidell, LA, Tommie Marie Cessna of Cairo, GA, Richard Allen Cessna of Slidell, LA, Wesley William Cessna (Ashley) of Cairo, GA; 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sheila E. Rost (Fred) of New Orleans, LA; brothers, Thomas Riehm (Malinda) of New Orleans, LA, Troy Riehm (Deborah) of Virginia Beach, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; daughter, Dana Denise Sigley: grandson, Justin Sigley.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home following the service.
