Maria Isabel Esquivel

Funeral services for Maria Isabel Esquivel, 24, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Jimmy Ausburn will officiate.  Services will conclude at the chapel. Mrs. Esquivel passed away at Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, Fl on Friday, August 4, 2023.

Maria was born on February 19, 1999, in Cairo, GA, to Ynacio Hernandez and Rebecca Esquivel Hernandez.  She was engaged to the love of her life, Jeffery Carter. Maria was a graduate of Cairo High School and worked for FPL Foods.

Survivors include: her parents; her brother, Gamaliel Elias of Cairo, GA; her sister, Jennifer K. Hernandez of Cairo, GA, and a host of extended family.

She was preceded by her grandmother, Maria Hacinta Esquivel.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home following the service.
