William “Bill” Archie Vaughn, III

William “Bill” Archie Vaughn, III, 77, of Cairo, GA, passed away at his residence in Cairo, GA, on Friday, October 6, 2023.

Mr. Vaughn was born on January 17, 1946, in Oakland, CA, to the late William Archie Vaughn, Jr. and Wanda Hazel Olson Vaughn.  He was a private pilot instructor and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include: his wife who he married on July 10, 1969, JoAnn Margaret Bielins Vaughn, of Cairo; son, William Archie Vaughn, IV, of Cairo, GA; daughters, Ann Estrada of Floresville, TX and Carol Moore of San Antonio, TX; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.
