John Kenneth Crawford
September 12, 1946 – October 24, 2023

Funeral services for John Kenneth Crawford, 77, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Pastor Travis Harrison will officiate.  Military Honors will be presented at the Chapel.  Private interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Thomasville, GA.  Mr. Crawford passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care in Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

Active pallbearers will be Dale Waters, Ronald Crawford, Keith Crawford, Roger Singletary, Dennis Crawford and Chris Kines.

Mr. Crawford was born on September 12, 1946, in Thomasville, GA, to the late Homer Everett Crawford and Eunice Singletary Crawford.  He served his country in the United States Air Force.  He was a retired electrician that was employed with Coastal Plywood Company in Havana, FL.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his siblings, Howard Crawford of Cairo, GA, Evelyn Bailey (Jake) of Cairo, GA, Beverly Crawford of Cairo, GA, Dennis Crawford (Vickie) of Clewiston, FL; aunt, Helen Layton of Meigs, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother, Carolyn Shelton Crawford.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Crawford’s memory to: the Grady County Honor Guard, P. O. Box 742, Cairo, GA  39828.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service.
