JoAnn Jarrett Meadows

JoAnn Jarrett Meadows, 94, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Thomasville Health and Rehab in Thomasville, GA, on Monday, November 6, 2023.  No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Meadows was born on December 28, 1928, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Lesbon Harper Jarrett and Minnie Catherine Ellison Jarrett.  On January 25, 1971, she married James Henry Meadows, who preceded her in death on May 19, 1987.  She retired as a secretary with the State of West Virginia.  She was a member of the Order of the Moose and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.  She was a member of Family Worship Center in Cairo, GA.

Survivors include: her daughters, Connie Saul (Alan) of Cairo, GA, Jana Reppy (Joe) of Scott Depot, WV; grandchildren, Jolanda McCoy (Billy Joe) of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Bryna Crisco of Cairo, GA, Jasmine Smith (Jacob Harper) of Thomasville, GA, Carter McCoy of Cairo, GA; and a great-great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Elise Edwards.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; and her brother, Averal Jarrett.
