James Donald Bell
July 28, 1941 – December 27, 2023

Graveside services for James Donald Bell, 82, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Jeff Ezell will officiate.  Mr. Bell passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kolt Bell, Will Jones, Connor Ezell, Montana Bell, Richard Bell and Rusty Bell.

Mr. Bell was born on July 28, 1941, in Cairo, GA, to the late Robert “Bob” Alexander Bell and Mellie Pyles Bell.  On November 22, 1961, he married Annette Whigham, who survives.

A meat cutter and grocery store manager, he later became an HVAC Technician and retired from Air Conditioning Technology and Services in Thomasville.

Survivors include:  his wife of 62 years, Annette Whigham Bell; son, Steve Bell (Patrice Brown); daughter, Donna Bell; grandchildren, Skylar Jones (Will), Kolt Bell (Lyndsey), Tylar Ezell (Connor), Montana Bell (Jaden Waldron); great-grandchildren, Kinsley Jones, Lane Jones, Kollins Bell; sister, Pam Roberts (Steve), all of Cairo, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by:  his parents; siblings, Elbana Bell, Robert Lee Bell, Ethel Boyette, W. Rayford Bell, J. T. Bell, Clifford Bell, Linda Bell and Clara Mae Griner.
