Dell Harrison Speigner

Graveside funeral services for Emma Dell Harrison Speigner, 74, of Crawfordville, FL, will be at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Rev. Keith Wallace and Rev. Jimmy Ausburn will officiate. Mrs. Speigner passed away at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL, on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Active pallbearers will be Norman Kincaid, James Jenkins, Travis Wilson, Fred Hening, Max Mispell and Yancy Maxwell.
Mrs. Speigner was born on May 30, 1949, in Whigham, GA, to the late Hugh Daniel Harrison and Alice Ausburn Harrison. On December 23, 1967, she married Donald Wade Speigner, who survives. They were married for over 56 years. Dell worked with the CenTel Telephone Company in Tallahassee, FL for over 20 years. Later, she was employed with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office as the first Victim’s Advocate. She was a member of First Baptist Church Ochlocknee Bay in Wakulla, FL.
Survivors include: her husband, Don W. Speigner of Crawfordville, FL; son, Brian W. Speigner (Julie) of Crawfordville, FL; grandchildren, Brian “Wade” Speigner (Natalie) of Crawfordville, FL, Ashlyn L. Speigner of Crawfordville, FL; special caregivers, Niki Miller of Crawfordville, FL, Susan Anderson of Whigham, GA, Nancy Bradford of Cleveland, GA, Glenda Coffey of Reno, GA; and a host of cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive friends at Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church immediately following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church.
