Graveside funeral services for Brandon Jay Brock, 36, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Brock Family Cemetery, Decatur County, GA.  Rev. Zane Owens will officiate.  Brandon passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Monday, June 10, 2024.

Active pallbearers will be Rob Avery, Scott Avery, Heath Sanders, Clay Cooper, Caleb Cooper, Brad Stephenson, Jeff Avery and Matthew Harrison.

Brandon was born on July 21, 1987, in Thomasville, GA, to Jarrell Arthur Brock and Cynthia Elaine Harrison.  He was a member of the CHS Class of 2005.  He was employed as a guide with Long Leaf Pine Plantation.  Brandon was a hunting and fishing enthusiast and loved being outdoors.

Survivors include: his mother, Cynthia Elaine Harrison of Cairo, GA; his father, Jarrell Arthur Brock of Cairo, GA; sister, Erica Sessions (John) of Cairo, GA; nephew and niece, Connor Sessions and Hadlee Sessions of Cairo, GA; grandfather, Calvin David Harrison, Sr. of Cairo, GA; girlfriend, Tiffany Green of Cairo, GA; Tiffany’s son, Ethan Green; and a host of cousins and extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, J. G. and Merlene Brock; and his grandmother, Judy Harrison.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, June 13, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
