Beverly Sue Pearce

Funeral services for Beverly Sue Pearce, 71, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Jimmy Ausburn will officiate.  Services will conclude at the chapel.  Private interment will be in Providence Community Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Mrs. Pearce passed away at her home on Saturday, August 3, 2024.

Mrs. Pearce was born on October 16, 1952, in Cairo, GA, to the late Haywood Butler and Olene High Butler.   On June 4, 1971, she married Billy Pearce, who survives.  They were married for 53 years.  She was a devoted homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her husband, Billy Pearce of Cairo, GA; daughter, Jennifer Adkins (John) of Whigham, GA; grandchild, Sara Adkins of Whigham, GA; Aunt Nell Willis of Thomasville, GA; sister-in-law, Faye Mitchell (Alvin) of Cairo, GA; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the funeral service.
