Nancy Anne Maxwell
June 12, 1937 – August 30, 2024

Nancy Anne Maxwell, 87, Cairo, GA, passed away at her residence on Friday, August 30, 2024.

Mrs. Maxwell was born on June 12, 1937, in Cairo, GA, to the late Murry Maxwell and the late Emmye Spence Maxwell.  She retired as a branch manager from the banking industry in Atlanta.  She was a successful Mary Kay Consultant and even earned the use of an automobile for her high sales in beauty products.  Nancy was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and served as the Worthy Matron.

Survivors include her sons, Scott Murphy of Cairo, GA and Keith Garstin of Nashville, TN; granddaughter, Raeleigh Murphy of Atlanta, GA; nieces and nephews, Ashley M. Searcy of Boston, GA, Alison Wilson of Ochlocknee, GA, Richard Maxwell of Boston, GA and Chuck Maxwell of Thomasville, GA; as well as a host of grandchildren and other extended family. She is also survived by a special friend, Louise Collins of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kim Harvard; and a brother, Andy Maxwell.
