Mark Eugene Davis
May 3, 1971 – September 4, 2024

Memorial services for Mark E. Davis 53, of Cairo, GA, are at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, September 8, 2024, at Gordon Heights Baptist Church, Cairo, GA.  Rev. William Hurst will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Mr. Davis passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Mr. Davis was born on May 3, 1971, in Dawson, GA, to the late James Benjamin Davis and Iona Dule Davis.  On October 15, 2022, he married Donna Carver Davis, who survives.  He worked with the Grady County Road Department for many years as the motor grader operator.  Mark spent his career serving and working with the Volunteer Fire Department in multiple counties. He was a member of Gordon Heights Baptist Church in Cairo.

Survivors include: his wife, Donna C. Davis, Cairo, GA; his children, Stephen Glenn Davis, Sarasota, FL, Alyssah Stroud, Lindsay Griffin (Ethan), Whigham, GA, Tanner Todd, Whigham, GA, Mason Griffith, Sarasota, FL; his grandchildren, Mary Jayne Davis, Orlando, FL, Harper Davis, Sarasota, FL, David Griffin, Whigham, GA: his brothers, James Benjamin Davis, Jr. (Liz), Albany, GA, Duane Cleo Davis (Beth), Shellman, GA; his niece and nephew, James Coleman Davis, Eliza D. Long and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his son, Raymond Storm Davis and his sister, Dawn Delynn Davis.
