Funeral services for Leon Lloyd “Buddy” Woodward, Jr., 65, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jeff Ezell will officiate. Private interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Woodward passed away at his residence in Cairo, GA, on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

Mr. Woodward was born on December 4, 1958, in Bangor, ME, to the late Leon Lloyd Woodward and Zelda Frances Morris Woodward, who survives. He was an air conditioning and heating technician, and later worked for many years as a security guard.

Survivors include his mother, Zelda Frances Woodward of Cairo, GA; brother, Walter James Woodward of Cairo, GA; aunt, Linda Sue Hargraves of Cairo, GA; cousins, Ruby L. Hargraves and Tanner K. Hargraves; as well as a host of other cousins and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father; and his uncles, Richard F. Morris, Jr. and Walter E. Morris.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, November 17, 2024, immediately following the service.
