Funeral services for Phyllis Blewett Crosby, 68, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 13, 2024, at Whigham Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Tim Dudding will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mrs. Crosby passed away at Camellia Gardens of Life Care, Thomasville, GA, on Monday, December 9, 2024.
Active pallbearers will be Bradley Jones, Dylan Treuden, Dillon Sholar, Devin Carpenter and Trey Kimmel.
Mrs. Crosby was born on August 3, 1956, in Mitchell County, GA, to the late John Blewett and Ruby Nell Hardin Blewett. On February 22, 2002, she married Paul Herbert Crosby, II, who preceded her in death on June 20, 2024. They were married for over 22 years. She worked as a secretary at Mitchell County Farm Services, Inc. for many years. She was a member of Whigham Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her son, Jeremy Crosby (Kaley) of Thomasville, GA; grandsons, Easton Crosby and Noah Crosby, both of Thomasville, GA; sister, Wanda Katrina Goff of Norman Park, GA; brother, Edwin Blewett of Vidalia, GA; mother-in-law, Donna Jean Crosby of Whigham, GA; nephews, Travis Blewett and Rhett Blewett; and a host of extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The family will receive friends at Whigham Baptist Church on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
