Kenneth David Barlow

Graveside funeral services for Kenneth David Barlow, 68, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Marc Walters will officiate. Mr. Barlow passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, January 9, 2025.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.

Mr. Barlow was born on April 23, 1956, in Cairo, GA, to the late Joseph David Barlow and Clyde Louise Powers Barlow. On November 16, 1981, he married Gracie Newmons Barlow, who survives. He served in the US Marine Corps and was a home builder.

Survivors include his wife; children, Gregory Ellis Barlow (Sarah Beth Tyler) of Bentonville, AR and Mistie Heard (Josh) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Bruce Tyler Barlow of Bentonville, AR, Hunter Chase Heard, Audrey Grace Barlow, Emma Jean Heard, Thomas David Heard and Jacob Reed Heard, all of Cairo GA and Nathan Youngblood; siblings, Joseph Wendell Barlow (Mary Nell) of Hopeful, GA, Phyllis Elrod and Mary Anne Coen (Scott) both of Monticello, FL; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Rusty Lee Barlow and Eva “Becky” Connelly.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Barlow’s memory to a charity of your choosing.

The family will receive friends at Greenwood Cemetery on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
