Frankie Patricia Smith, 62, of Cairo, GA, passed away at her home, Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 14, 1962, in Cairo, GA, to Johnny Hopkins, who survives, and the late Patsy McLendon Hopkins. On December 2, 2000, she married Douglas “Doug” Claud Smith, Jr., and he preceded her in death on August 22, 2020. She was a paralegal and a member of Christ Church.

Survivors include her father; sister, Nancie McCarty; brother, Johnny Hopkins, Jr. (Michele) of Erie, PA; nephew, Walt Rouse of Cairo, GA; niece, Millie Rouse of Atlanta, GA; great-nephew, Liam “Rooster” Roberson of Cairo, GA; as well as other extended family. She is also survived by her best friend, Sonja Bennett of Tennessee.

She was preceded in death by her mother; husband; and brother-in-law, Mac McCarty.
