Funeral services for Jonathan David Ivy, 66, of Whigham, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 2, 2025, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Allen Hartsfield will officiate. Interment will be in the Garden of Gethsemane Cemetery on Bold Springs Road, Cairo, GA. Mr. Ivy passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA, on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.

Active pallbearers will be Dallas Trawick, Joshua Ivy, Josh Ivy, Matthew Ivy, Archie L. Parker and Archie D. Parker.

Mr. Ivy was born on October 22, 1958, in Lakeland, FL to the late Sim Ivy, Jr. and the late Willa Mae Borders Ivy. Jon was the owner and operator of Ivy Air Conditioning and prided himself in his work. He was a family man that took care of everyone. His grandchildren and his great-grandchildren were his pride and joy.

Survivors include: his son, Joshua Daniel Ivy (Lisa) of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Amber Ivy (Dallas Trawick) of Cairo, GA, Joshua Ivy, Taylor Ivy, Weston Ivy, Hunter Ivy and Sadie Ivy, all of Whigham, GA; great-grandchildren, Harper Grace Trawick of Cairo, GA, Brody Trawick of Cairo, GA; siblings, Bobby Ivy (Michele) of Alpharetta, GA; Mickey Ivy (Frances) of Polk City, FL; Janet Parker (Archie) of Ochlocknee, GA, Matthew Ivy of Whigham, GA; Dorothy Ivy of Cairo, GA; sister-in-law, Beverly Ivy of Cairo, GA; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. He is also survived by his faithful canine companion, Ivy Ivy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Larry Ivy.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
