Graveside funeral services for Robert Landrell “Lanny” Bell, 67, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2025, at Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Rev. Miles Carter will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Bell passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital, Thomasville, GA, on Tuesday, February 4, 2025.

Mr. Bell was born on August 21, 1957, in Grady, GA, to the late Robert Lee Bell and Merle Daughtry Bell. He was a plumbing and electrical contractor, was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, and in his spare time, enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and being outdoors.

Survivors include his son; Hunter Bell of Tallahassee, FL; grandson, Kaiden Lee Bell of Cairo, GA; stepchildren, Rydge Ansley, Taylor Ansley, Shawna Ansley and Brittany Hunt, all of Thomasville, GA; sisters, Glenda Majors of Cairo, GA and Linda Culbreth (Nathan) of Sumner, GA; nephews, Derrick Majors (Jennifer) and Jarrod Majors (Laura) both of Cairo, GA; as well as a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts, uncles and other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Paul Majors; and several aunts and uncles

The family will receive friends at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
