Funeral services for Ruby Inez Thomas, 88, of Thomasville, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate. Services will conclude at the chapel. Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Thomas passed away at Southern Pines Senior Living in Thomasville, GA, on Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Mrs. Thomas was born on September 24, 1927, in Adel, GA, to the late Chandler Thompson and Minnie Clark Thompson. On July 11, 1977, she married George Raymond Thomas, who preceded her in death on September 28, 2003. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church of Thomasville, GA.

Survivors include: daughter, Jane Lewis (Jimmy) of Cairo, GA; son, Allan Lord (Neavis) of Bakersfield, CA; stepson, Phil Thomas (Cheryl) of Alfred, ME; grandchildren, Jamie Lewis (Becky) of Cairo, GA, Jeffrey Lewis (Steffie) of Biloxi, MS; Allan Lord, II of Pensacola, FL, Ashley Lord of Daytona Beach , FL; step-grandson, Shawn Thomas of Alfred, ME; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Lamar Thompson of Thomasville, GA; sister, Maxine Daughtry (Paul) of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: parents; first husband, Howard Lord; second husband, George R. Thomas; great-great-granddaughter, Harmony Hobbs; and brothers, Marrell Thompson, Milton Thompson, John Thompson.
