Terrance “Terry” Benjamin Bouton

Funeral services for Terrance “Terry” Benjamin Bouton, 81, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 435 Maxwell Drive, Cairo, GA. President Charlie Butler will officiate. Interment will be in the Baggett Family Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Bouton passed away at his home on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Active pallbearers will be Chris Lemke, Killian Jaynes, Malakai May, Steven Jowers and Steve Bouton.

Mr. Bouton was born on April 27, 1943, in Janesville, WI, to the late Francis Bouton and Mary Isabelle Frank Spear. On March 28, 1987, he married Elizabeth Butler Bouton. They were married for over 38 years. Terry loved working with automobiles, repairing and painting to restoring those to running conditions.

Survivors include: his wife, Elizabeth Butler Bouton of Cairo, GA; sons, Steve Bouton (Evangeline) of Evaston, IL, Jeff Bouton (Tina) of Janesville, WI; brother-in-law, Gary Lemke of Thomasville, GA; niece and nephew, Christopher Lemke of Cairo, GA, Debbie Wood of Thomasville, GA.

He was preceded in death by: parents; and a sister, Marilyn Lemke.

The family will receive friends at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
