Albert Kinard Browning

Funeral services for Albert Kinard Browning, 89, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Steve Singletary will officiate. Military Honors will be presented at the Chapel. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mr. Browning passed away at Bainbridge Health and Rehab in Bainbridge, GA, on Tuesday, August 20, 2019.

Mr. Browning was born on July 31, 1930, in Vidalia, GA, to the late B. F. Browning and Irene Sellars Browning. He served his county in the United States Army. In 1961, he married Ruby Royals Browning, who survives. He was a truck driver and a school bus driver. He was of the Holiness faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Ruby Browning of Cairo, GA; daughter, Jeanette Shurley (William) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Jason Kilgo (Amanda) of Cairo, GA, Albert Kilgo (Victoria) of Cairo, GA, LaDonna Thomas (James), Aaron Thomas of Cairo, GA, Shawn Shurley of Cairo, GA, Sherry Jacobs (Terry) of Fernandina Beach, FL; 14 great- grandchildren; and a brother, Lamar Browning of Griffin, GA.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his first wife, Doris Diane Browning; daughter, Diane Kilgo (Glen); grandson, Joseph Kilgo; and a host of brothers and sisters.
