Funeral services for Alvin Leland Riley, 70, of Ochlocknee, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA, GA. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mr. Riley passed away at Archbold Living – Grady, Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

Mr. Riley was born on January 3, 1954, in Cairo, GA, to the late Alvin Riley and Ada Pauline Smith Riley. He married Mary Alice Wilson, who survives, in 1972, and they were married for 52 years. He worked as a textile manufacturer at Ithaca Industries, and in his younger years, worked as a syrup maker.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Riley, of Ochlocknee, GA; daughters, Teresa Lorick (Robert) of Ochlocknee, GA and Martha Bush (Kevin) of Thomasville, GA; grandchildren, Lacy Ansley (Rydge) of Thomasville, GA, Kasey Lorick of Hinesville, GA, Jason Weeks of West Virginia, Bailey Bush of Statesboro, GA, Ian Bush of Thomasville, GA and Nathaniel Bush of Thomasville, GA; great-grandchildren, Zeke Vinson of Pelham, GA, Jamie Huffman of Pelham, GA, Eli Cliett of Pelham, GA, Ellison Ansley of Thomasville, GA, Roxanne Ansley of Thomasville, GA, and River Lorick of Hinesville, GA; as well as other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sharon Aldridge; and a granddaughter, Lela Vinson.
