Funeral services for Annie Chambers Scarbrough, 85, of San Antonio, TX, are at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Union Springs Baptist Church, Whigham, GA. Rev. Steve Poppell will officiate. Interment will be in Union Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mrs. Scarbrough passed away in San Antonio, TX on February 14, 2018.

Mrs. Scarbrough was born on March 10, 1932, in Canton, GA, to the late Buck Chambers and Angelina Harden Chambers. On May 13, 1969, she married Marvin Scarbrough, who preceded her in death on September 7, 2002. She was an airline stewardess with Eastern Airlines.

Survivors include: her daughter, Susie S. Harvey of San Antonio, TX; and grandchildren, Josie Harvey of Whigham, GA, Ricky Montemayor, of San Antonio, TX, Melissa Clark of Las Vegas, NV.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; daughter, Marnice Clark; and sisters, Shirley Starkey, Sue Overly.

The family will receive friends at Union Springs Baptist Church following the funeral service.
