Arthur Bruce Thomas
October 15, 1942 – March 21, 2024

Funeral services for Arthur Bruce Thomas, 81, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Faith Christian Center, Cairo, GA.  Pastor David Coleman, Sr., will officiate.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mr. Thomas passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024.

Active pallbearers will be Mark Marcinowski, Bryce Marcinowski, Grant Marcinowski, Carey Walden, Chris Buckhalter and Tracey Walden.

Mr. Thomas was born on October 15, 1942, in Whigham, GA, to the late Alton Jackson Thomas and Lois Trulock Thomas. He served his country in the United States Army.  On June 6, 1969, he married Lenora Loyd Thomas, who survives.  They were married for over 54 years.  He was the owner-operator of Thomas Welding Shop.  He loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, birdwatching and grilling on his back porch.  He was a member of Faith Christian Center.

Survivors include: his wife, Lenora Thomas of Cairo, GA; daughters, Terrie Barnes of Boston, GA and Tracy Buckhalter (Chris) of Cairo, GA; granddaughter, Macey Alexander (Garrett) of Savannah, GA, Olivia Morrison of Forsyth/Musella, GA, Cannon Buckhalter of Cairo, GA, Kendell Walden (Carey) of Cairo, GA, Bryce Marcinowski of Boston, GA, Grant Marcinowski (Maegan) of Idaho; and great-grandchildren, Riley Walden, Kelsey Walden, Cash Walden, Ella Rae Walden, Rhett Marcinowski, Sutton Alexander, Lila Claire Marcinowski and Tanner Morrison.

He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Perry Trulock; his parents; grandson, Hunter Bruce Morrison; and a brother, Tommy Thomas.

The family will receive friends at Faith Christian Center on Sunday, March 24, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
