Arthur Dewey “Pete” Owens, Jr., 71, of Thomasville, GA passed away at his home in Thomasville, GA, on Friday, January 6, 2023. Services are to be announced for a later date.

Mr. Owens was born on March 13, 1951, in Cairo, GA, to the late Arthur Dewey Owens, Sr. and Ivy Ulaine Palmer Owens. He worked as a city dispatcher with the City of Cairo until his retirement. Mr. Owens was of the Baptist Faith.    

Survivors include: his children, Zane Owens (Sabrina), of St. Mary, GA, Kale Owens, of Cairo, GA, Arthur Owens, III of Dallas, GA, and Rebecca Owens, Valdosta, GA; grandchildren, Samantha Thomson (Mickey), of Cairo, GA, Dylan Owens, of Whigham, GA, Elissa Owens, of St. Mary, GA, Jude Owens, of St. Mary, GA, Gavin Owens, of Cairo, GA, Kaleb Owens, of Cairo, GA, Gracie Clanton, of Cairo, GA, Elizabeth Baker (Kristopher), of Cairo, GA, Taylor Lewis, of Valdosta, GA and Bentley Powell, of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Sophie, Emmalyn, Piper and Shyloh; sister, Kay Owens, of Cairo, GA.
