Artie Ann Booth Nickonovitz
June 17, 1938 – March 3, 2025

Ann Nickonovitz passed away peacefully at Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville, GA, on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Mrs. Nickonovitz was born on June 17, 1938, in Cairo, GA, to the late William Lee Booth and the late Lotchie Davis. She was married for over 65 years to William “Bill” Nickonovitz, who preceded her in death on October 10, 2022. “Miss Ann” dedicated more than 30 years to teaching but it was her devotion to caring for her own special needs son for 47 years for which she is most admired by her family.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Calzaretta (Brett) of Cleveland, GA; grandson, Gavin Calzaretta (Cresta) of Cleveland, GA; sister, Kathy Wetters (Brian) of Geneva, IL; brother, Lee Booth (Brenda) of Madison, FL; brother-in-law, Gariel Paul, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and other extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, William “Billy” V. Nickonovitz, II and William V. Nickonovitz, Jr.; daughter, Joan Nickonovitz; sisters, Rosa Nell Paul and Janice Booth Ward; and brother, Lannis Booth.
