Funeral services for Betty Jo Craton Head, 80, of Whigham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2018, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Jerry Robertson will officiate. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Whigham, GA. Mrs. Head passed away at her home in Whigham, GA, on Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Mrs. Head was born on October 8, 1937, in West Frostproof, FL, to the late Albert Junior Craton and Rosada Martin Craton. On September 27, 1960, she married Clifford N. Head, who survives. Betty Jo retired from Grady General Hospital. She was a member of the Whigham Baptist Church.

Survivors include: her husband, Clifford N. Head of Whigham, GA; daughter, Tammy Jo Gantt (Bobby) of Palm Bay, FL; sons, Clifford N. Head, Jr. (Wendy) of Carthage, NY, Julian Bentley Head of Whigham, GA; grandchildren, Colton Jepson, Chainey Gantt, Carmen Gantt, all of Palm Bay, FL, Kerrigan Head, Rease Head, both of Carthage, NY; brother, Lonnie W. Craton of Sebring, FL; and sisters, Jessie Brown of Brundidge, AL, Charlette Berkey (Albert) of Palm City, FL.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; sisters, Nellie Mae Fralick, Lucille Ziezler; and a brother, Emmett Craton.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Friday, September 7, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
