Private funeral services for Betty Jean Johnson Green, 80, of Cairo, GA, are Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Bob Knight will officiate.  Interment will be in El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Ms. Green passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Thursday, August 6, 2020.

Ms. Green was born on October 1, 1939, in Cairo, GA, to the late Jackson Harold Johnson and Mamie Louise Bryant Johnson.  She was a retired LPN nurse.  Betty was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her daughter, Martika Moore of Cairo, GA; son, Paul Jones Green, III, of Glenville, GA; grandchildren, Dustin S. Benton (Deanna) of Cairo, GA, Morgan J. Maxam (Adam) of Cairo, GA, Cameron L. Moore of Cairo, GA; great-grandchildren, Kylee J. Benton of Cairo, GA, Ryker Lee Benton of Cairo, GA, Adam Holden Maxam of Cairo, GA; and a sister, Sara E. Fain of Cairo, GA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Alma Faye Jordan.
