Graveside funeral services for Bill Charlie Baggett, Sr., 74, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 5, 2022, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA.  Mr. Baggett passed away at his home in Ochlocknee, GA on Thursday, March 3, 2022. He was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Baggett was born on May 26, 1947, in Cairo, GA, to the late Stonewall Baggett and Sarah Griffin Baggett. On November 12, 1965, he married his wife Dorothy Tilley Baggett who survives. He spent his career as a truck driver for Plantation Petroleum for almost forty years. He was an active member of Eastside Baptist Church of Thomasville, GA.

Survivors include: his wife, Dorothy Tilley Baggett of Ochlocknee, GA; daughter, Brenda Whigham (Todd) of Albany, GA; son, Bill Baggett Jr. of Ochlocknee, GA; grandchildren, Amber Crowell (Chris) of Thomasville, GA, Todd Whigham Jr. (Kayla Ann) of Leesburg, GA; great-grandchildren, Jonathan Crowell, of Thomasville, GA, Jackson Crowell of Thomasville, GA, Ivan Crowell of Thomasville, GA, Kaylee Whigham of Leesburg, GA; sister, Josephine Miller of Murphy, North Carolina.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers, Jimmy Baggett and Johnny Baggett.
