Bobbie Sue Williams Palmer

Funeral services for Bobbie Sue Williams Palmer, 81, of Pelham, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 26, 2022, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate.  Services will conclude at the chapel.  Private interment will be in Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, GA.  Mrs. Palmer passed away at her home on Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Mrs. Palmer was born on February 26, 1941, in Cairo, GA, to the late Luther Enoch Williams and Tempie Whitfield Williams.  She was married to Robert Macel Palmer for over 60 years.  She was employed with the Grady County Board of Education.  She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her husband, Robert Macel Palmer of Pelham, GA; children, Beverly Miller (Shawn) of Pelham, GA, Latra Cain of Pelham, GA, Shannah Trawick (Kyle) of Pansey, AL; grandchildren, Clay Trawick (Alatia) of Pansey, AL, Macey Kendrick (Matthew) of Cottonwood, AL, Laney Trawick of Pansey, AL, Seth Cain (Halie) of Pelham, GA; great-grandchildren, Allie Kendrick, Landon Kendrick; brothers, Lavon Williams (Paulette) of Cairo, GA, Gene Williams (Marjorie) of Cairo, GA; a very special sister-in-law, Janice Spence of Thomasville, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her brother, Tommy Williams; and a sister, Charlene Elkins.

Memorials may be made in Mrs. Palmer’s memory to: Union Hill Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the service at Clark Funeral Home.
