Bobby Williamson

Funeral services for Bobby Williamson, 83, of Tallahassee, FL, are at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA. Rev. Teddy Williamson will officiate. Interment will be in Mizpah Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Pelham, GA. Mr. Williamson passed away at home on Saturday, September 28, 2024.

Active pallbearers will be Terry Atkinson, Gary Jones, Leroy Vickers, Jr., and Elie Atkinson.

Mr. Williamson was born on September 23, 1941, in Pelham, GA, to the late Lemuel Victor Williamson, Sr. and Myrtis Daughtry Williamson. Most people knew him as “Smiley.” He retired from the City of Tallahassee Maintenance Department. Bobby loved to roller skate and play pool. He was known as a “Pool Shark Player” by those that challenged him. He was able to meet several of the top famous players in the game over the years. He was of the Primitive Baptist Faith.

Survivors include: his sister, Margie Gearhardt of Tallahassee, FL; nieces, Kimberly Brickey of Box Springs, GA, Wanda Williamson of Box Springs, GA and Delores Griner of Pelham, GA; and a special nephew, Leroy Vickers, Jr.; and a host of extended family.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, Lemuel Victor Williamson, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Mr. Williamson’s memory to: Mizpah Cemetery Fund, c/o Earl Godwin, 419 Godwin Lane, Pelham, GA 31779.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.
