Brenda Hopkins Roddenbery
March 14, 1950 – October 19, 2022

Memorial services for Brenda Hopkins Roddenbery, 72, of Cairo, GA, are at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 23, 2022, at the Chapel of Clark Funeral Home, Cairo, GA.  Rev. Ron McCaskill will officiate.  Mrs. Roddenbery passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. 

Mrs. Roddenbery was born on March 14, 1950, in Cairo, GA, to the late Leroy Robert Hopkins, Jr. and Louette Harper Hopkins.  She was a member of the CHS Class of 1968.  Brenda received her undergraduate degree was from Georgia College in Milledgeville and her masters was from The University of Georgia.  She was a dedicated and loving homemaker to her children and family.  She was a member of Christ Church Cairo.      

Survivors include: son, Bryan Patrick Roddenbery of Tallahassee, FL; daughters, Holly Anne Roddenbery of Detroit, MI, Kristin Roddenbery Martinelli (Bryan) of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Elliana Martinelli, Bryan W. Martinelli, III, both of Cairo, GA; siblings, Mary Carpenter (Earl) of Reno, GA, twin, Linda Perry (Chip) of Bainbridge, GA, Bobby Hopkins of Panama City Beach, FL, Duane Hopkins (Faye) of Reno, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews and extended family.  

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her life companion, Charles Seaborn Roddenbery; and a sister, Patricia Lynn Hopkins.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home immediately following the memorial service.
