Bruce Craig Brockway
February 15, 1956 – March 11, 2020

Bruce Craig Brockway, 64, of Cairo, GA, passed away at his home in Cairo, GA, on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. A memorial service will be announced later.

Mr. Brockway was born on February 15, 1956, in Dallas, TX, to the late Darin Brockway and Virginia Clarie MacCall. He taught at Florida International University in Miami, FL for several years. Bruce was a dedicated owner and operator of a taxi service in Miami and later in Cairo. He was a ham radio expert. He was compassionate, generous, and an all-around good guy. Bruce was a big man with a big heart, and he was loved by many. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 50 years.

Survivors include his brother, William J. “Will” Ruiz of Cairo, GA and his stepmother, Yvonne Conger of Metter, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Karen Lipner Brockway.
