Memorial services for Carey Lanier Lee, 53, of Cairo, GA, are at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022, at First Assembly of God Church, Cairo, GA. Rev. Travis Harrison will officiate. Mr. Lee passed away at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, GA, on Monday, January 31, 2022.
Mr. Lee was born on April 4, 1968, in Cairo, GA, to Roger Lee and Sue Laine Sellars Wentworth. He retired from trucking and later become know at “Santa Clause” to the local community. He was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cairo.
Survivors include: his sons, Cameron Lee of Saucier, MS, Jonathan Newmons of Saucier, MS; grandchildren, Ian Lee, Emily Lee, both of Saucier, MS; father, Roger Lee (Gail) of Cairo, GA; mother, Sue Laine Sellars Wentworth of Cairo, GA; brother, Tommy Lee (Jaclyn) of Griffin, GA; sisters, Rhonda Lee of Cairo, GA, Amy Lee of Whigham, GA; sister-in-law, Karina Wentworth of Alaska; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Earl Wentworth.
