Funeral services for Carolyn Johnson Hollingsworth, 59, of Cairo, GA, are at 3:00 p.m., Friday, June 8, 2018, at Hilltop Bible Baptist Church, Cairo, GA. Pastor Glen Scoggin and Rev. David Harrell will officiate. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, GA. Mrs. Hollingsworth passed away at her home in Cairo, GA, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

Active pallbearers will be Darrell Johnson, Randall Johnson, DeWayne Johnson, David Johnson, Chad Johnson and Todd Bishop.

Mrs. Hollingsworth was born on October 3, 1958, in Cairo, GA, to the late Theophilus Shorty Johnson and Irma Lindsay Johnson. She retired from the shipping department at Warner’s in Thomasville, GA. She was a member of Hilltop Bible Baptist Church in Cairo.

Survivors include: sons, Shannon Stokes of Cairo, GA, Dustin Hollingsworth of Cairo, GA; five grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Johnson of Cairo, GA, Wayne Johnson of Cairo, GA; sisters, Sharon Butler (Kenneth) of Cairo, GA and her twin sister, Marilyn Willis (Billy) of Cairo, GA; sister-in-law, Jane Johnson of Cairo, GA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; grandson, Michael Dustin Hollingsworth; brother, David Theo Johnson; and a sister, Charlotte Barrineau.

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
