Clay Newmons
September 30, 1970 – February 16, 2021

Graveside funeral services for Clay Newmons, 50, of Cairo, GA, are on Saturday, February 20, 2021, in El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Whigham, GA.  Rev. Eric Mitchell will officiate.  Mr. Newmons passed away at Grady General Hospital on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews, Duke Sellers, Reese Fain and Gary Fain.

Mr. Newmons was born on September 30, 1970, in Cairo, GA, to Billy Newmons and Jean Anders Palmer.  On August 29, 2009, he married Deborah Fain Newmons, who survives.  He was a truck driver for R & D Metal Recycling in Thomasville, GA.  Clay loved to hunt and fish.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include:  his wife, Deborah Newmons of Cairo, GA; son, Harold Sadler of Pelham, GA; daughter, Audrey Newmons of Cairo, GA; father, Billy Newmons of Cairo, GA; mother, Jean Palmer of Cairo, GA; brother, Bobby Newmons (Staci) of Cairo, GA; sister, Cindy Lomaneck of Cairo, GA; and nephews, Dalton, Ethan, Jonathan, Joseph.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
