Clifford Cecil Cox, Jr., 71, of Cairo, GA, passed away at Grady General Hospital in Cairo, GA, GA, on Friday, September 4, 2020.  No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Cox was born on July 12, 1949, in Colquitt, GA, to the late Clifford Cecil Cox, Sr. and Bettsie Richardson Cox.  He was a retired auto mechanic.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: his sons, Steve Cox (Sarah) of Thomasville, GA, Charles Cox of Cairo, GA, Jeffery Cox, Jason Cox, both of Lake Wells, FL, Josh Kirkly of Savannah, GA; his daughter, Christine Cox of Thomasville, GA; 10 grandchildren; brother, Ben Cox of Augusta, GA; sisters, Linda Johnson of Savannah, GA, Jorenne Knight of Alabama, Angie West of South Carolina, Rebecca Woods of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
